The Lions face their toughest test of the season so far on Sunday evening as they play host to the Deeside Dragons at the National Ice Centre (7.15pm face off).

Simon Hunt: #13 is back on the ice for the Lions.

Nottingham will be hoping to hold on to first place in the Division 2 North table and make it four wins from four after convincing victories over Fylde, Hull and Blackburn in their first three games.

The Dragons have also had a good start to the season claiming three straight wins before suffering a surprise home defeat to Sheffield Senators two weeks ago. So Steven Fellows’ men will certainly be looking to bounce back in style with an upset on the Lions’ own doorstep.

Nottingham will be at full-strength with Simon Hunt, Ryan Rathbone and last season’s top-scorer Joe Wightman all returning after missing last weekends trip to Blackburn whilst Sam Gospel will continue netminding duties.

So get yourselves down to the NIC on Sunday for what is sure to be a thrilling encounter between two teams that are sure to be in the mix for a promotion spot come March.
